Reviews, awards and prizes!

The Sanctuary is reviewed in a Guernsey Press newspaper article on Wiltshire.

Our home-made raspberry jam and our hen's eggs both won First Prize at the Marlborough Gardening Association's 2015 competition.

The Sanctuary has been recommended by Country Walking Magazine's We Welcome Walkers.

On the buses: One of the most frequent questions we get from people walking the Ridgeway is "Where are the buses?" Public transport in rural areas can be infrequent, so we've collated what we know on a new page on public transport and buses for The Ridgeway. Links to timetables are being updated as we find new ones.

Marmalade: Our chunky home-made marmalade continues to get great reviews from our guests. So we've been busy for hours with organically-grown Seville Oranges and Fairtrade Sugar, making a fresh batch ready for this year's visitors to enjoy.

Solar power: We are installing more solar panels from Renytek, to provide power for 12V LED lighting. They have a great range of products at excellent prices.
